You are loved

The children in my class painted rocks and I drew a heart and the words

You are loved.

They will take them home and share them with their families.

I am very grateful to work with these sweet little toddlers.

I gathered this little bouquet from the campus of my school and

put it onto one of the tables in our classroom.

It looks pretty.

The other evening we had a wicked thunder and lightening storm blow through.

There was lots of heavy rain but fortunately it was quick and there wasn't any damage.

It left behind this beautiful rainbow.

As I was walking into church on Sunday morning I noticed this statue of Mother Mary

in the church yard. I remember it being there when I was a girl.

I'm very thankful that I am still able to attend the church I went to as a child.

My sister has been sending me old pictures.

This is my mother and I from about 25 years ago. We were sitting by the pool.

I miss her.

  1. OOOH I love your hair in that photo with your beautiful mom
LOVE the painted rocks and flower arrangement.
My fave pic from your day is the rainbow one. We need a good storm with more rain here in Albany NY. It's been dry...it rained very briefly...enough to break the high humidity on Sunday evening but it didn't soak the ground like we need. Then again we had an entire month of May with rain!
i hope you have a wonderfully relaxing weekend.

  2. What a fun project with the rocks! Pretty flowers! I have a little bouquet of flowers from outside this week, too. What a beautiful sky and rainbow. It's so fun to go through old photos. We found some in old boxes we've been going through.

  3. I painted rocks with my grands during Covid and we hid some and put the others in the garden. I enjoyed my visit here. I miss my mom too.

  5. How sweet to have those old photos. Is your sister scanning them?
I think we experienced that storm the day before you did. I'm glad you didn't have any damage and enjoyed the rainbow.

  7. I love the rock idea with the kids. I think I'm going to borrow it for my dayhome. Cute little bouquet. We had a crazy thunderstorm that ended with a huge downpour this week too. The lightening was intense and lit up our bedroom on several occasions. It was in the middle of the night so no rainbow seen with ours. Love the picture of you and your Mom!
